Welcome to Miss B’s award winning tea rooms

Miss B’s Tea Rooms is Leicestershire’s only Tea Guild Award of Excellence Member.

Miss B’s Tea Rooms is set on the second floor of a Grade 2 listed building in the market town of Melton Mowbray, famed for its Stilton cheese, pork pies and more recently the title of ‘Rural Capital of Food!’

The heavy beams and uneven floors all add to the ambience in our Traditional Tea Rooms. This sets the scene for a relaxing experience, where customer service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Real loose leaf tea is served from china pots into bone china tea cups, sugar with tongs to help to set the scene.

We offer a wide selection of delicious sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and light lunches including Dickinson and Morris pork pies and Long Clawson Stilton Cheese, as well as homemade Gluten Free and dairy free cakes and scones.   Afternoon Teas and Cream Teas are our speciality!

  • review rating 5  Have visited the tea rooms twice in two weeks as their afternoon tea is probably one of the best I have had and very reasonably priced . Nothing is too much for the owner, if you don’t like certain cakes or sandwiches she’ll gladly change them for anything of your choice. Service is great and always served with a smile. A very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
