Miss B’s Tea Rooms is Leicestershire’s only Tea Guild Award of Excellence Member.
Miss B’s Tea Rooms is set on the second floor of a Grade 2 listed building in the market town of Melton Mowbray, famed for its Stilton cheese, pork pies and more recently the title of ‘Rural Capital of Food!’
The heavy beams and uneven floors all add to the ambience in our Traditional Tea Rooms. This sets the scene for a relaxing experience, where customer service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Real loose leaf tea is served from china pots into bone china tea cups, sugar with tongs to help to set the scene.
We offer a wide selection of delicious sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and light lunches including Dickinson and Morris pork pies and Long Clawson Stilton Cheese, as well as homemade Gluten Free and dairy free cakes and scones. Afternoon Teas and Cream Teas are our speciality!

14/12/2025Lovely little tea room recommended to us by the cheesemongers round the corner Friendly staff advising us to sit wherever we wanted and quick service too We ordered a pot of tea and the Brie and Cranberry toastie to share, the toastie was made with three slices of bread so it was quite filling and delicious Proper strained pot of tea served in mix and match cups and saucers which was a very cute homely feel, the decor is shabby chic with lots of decorative items and mementos, similar to walking into your grandparents house and having the warm, welcoming touch Would definitely recommend and come back!!

07/12/2025Don’t know if it was the owner, but she sounded absolutely fed up when taking our order. Ran out of random things like sweeteners. I know it’s an old building, but it looked very cramped in there/ tables very close together, thankfully it wasn’t busy when we went in.
